New Photography Website!

I'm currently working on a new layout thats responsive for my photography portfolio. Its got a fixed sidebar which is going to act as menu and footer.

The whole thing is going to be so minimalistic and all on the "index" page so I can have loads of space for the images I'm going to store. It's going to be anchored links as well so its going ot be one hell of a really long page. But i'm indecisive at the moment about the anchored links and might incorporte some jQuery to make a slider to different sections, and make it really interactive.

That whole grey section is going to be the flowing content. I wouldnt mind it going sideways because then it will give the effect of it rolling under the sidebar like an old scroll. or i could use jQuery to slide to an anchored "hidden section" and then scroll down. but it needs to be responsive, so wehter some devices will become confused and not display the scroll bar proerly and throw users off is my biggest worry.

More will be updated as the days go on, but because this is site is so simple i may have the layout and UI ready to use in the next few days seeing as what you can see (above) has only taken me an hour and a half!

Here's the CSS for my sidebar and the future RESPONSIVE elements to help it on different OS's

That's the "sidebar" CSS, to fix it to the side and have it cover 100% height.

This is the CSS for the responsive design, I'll uplaod the rest of this sectio when the layout is complete and I've got all my measurements correct.
